The Ghana Civil Society Forum 2024 (GCSF) was a national gathering of civil society organizations held on 25–26 June 2024 in Accra. It brought together NGOs, community-based organizations, and social movements to reflect on the state of civil society and chart a path forward.
The forum was held under the theme:
“Civil Society at an Inflection Point: Strategizing for Increased Legitimacy, Effectiveness, and Sustainability.”
Its main purpose was to strengthen coordination, collaboration, and collective action within Ghana’s civil society sector. Participants engaged in discussions on how to respond to emerging national challenges, improve impact, and build a more resilient and inclusive civil society.
Key highlights of GCSF 2024 include:
